This is the advanced module — the playbook people screenshot and share in WhatsApp groups. It combines everything: Gyftpe preload, merchant sales, partial wallet checkout, and credit card rewards on the remainder. It is powerful when executed cleanly. It is embarrassing when someone adds 5% + 40% + 5% and claims 50% off.
Four possible layers (not four guaranteed layers)
| Layer | Where | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 0 (optional) | gyftpe.com checkout | Pay Gyftpe with rewards card if MCC allowed |
| 1 | Gyftpe gift card buy | 4% off Myntra balance |
| 2 | Merchant sale | EOF 40% off fashion |
| 3 | Residual card payment | Flipkart Axis 5% on ₹1,500 card slice |

Layer 4 conflict: Full wallet checkout means zero card spend — Layer 3 disappears. Choose deliberately.
Worked example: Myntra end-of-season
Setup:
- Buy ₹8,000 Myntra balance at 4% off → pay ₹7,680 (Layer 1 saves ₹320)
- Sale reduces ₹8,000 cart → ₹4,800
- Pay ₹4,800 entirely from wallet
Compare to direct UPI during sale: ₹4,800 cash out.
Your position: ₹7,680 deployed with ₹2,880 balance remaining for future orders plus you saved ₹320 at Layer 1 on the portion consumed. Track unspent balance — do not treat ₹7,680 as “cost of one shirt.”
Alternative with partial card:
- Cart ₹8,000 → sale ₹4,800
- Pay ₹3,300 wallet + ₹1,500 Flipkart Axis
- Layer 3 might return ~₹75 if 5% applies to ₹1,500 — if offer allows
Run the maths before assuming.
Layer 0: paying Gyftpe with a card
Optional fourth dimension — buying the gift card itself on credit:
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Extra 1–5% if MCC counts | Often excluded entirely |
| Convenience | Interest if not paid in full |
Only Layer 0 after verifying with a small test transaction or issuer documentation.
The compound logging sheet

Brand: Myntra

Notes: ___________
Honest logs beat viral “hack” posts.
Flipkart Axis + Flipkart wallet synergy
Marketplace shoppers often pair:
- Flipkart gift card on Gyftpe — Layer 1
- BBD sale — Layer 2
- Flipkart Axis on residual — Layer 3
Compare Flipkart Axis on Gyftpe →
Mental model: sequencing, not addition
Wrong: 4% + 40% + 5% = 49% off
Right: Apply each layer to eligible rupees only, in order, with separate baselines.
When to stop at Layer 1 + 2
If Layer 3 requires contorted split payments for ₹40 cashback on a ₹6,000 order — skip it. When not to stack is the companion chapter.
